Trent DeRosa is a 2024 C/RHP who attends Kettle Run HS in Warrenton, Virginia. The pound for pound strongest player on the Titans, DeRosa has an ideal catcher’s frame - compact and powerful. As a catcher, DeRosa excels at receiving, framing, and blocking; he calls an intelligent game and features arm strength/accuracy that holds baserunners in check. At the plate, DeRosa is a disciplined hitter using a gap to gap line drive approach. With plenty of strength present, DeRosa is working hard to tap into his power tool with positive results. A natural leader and A+ teammate, DeRosa is a tireless worker on the field and in the gym; he is extremely coachable and always looking to improve. DeRosa takes these same qualities to the classroom where he is a straight A student while enrolled in Kettle Run’s STEM program. In his seventh year with the Titans, DeRosa has excelled against high end competition. See Trent in action in video and photos below.
